It is hard to believe, especially for those of use who were there, that it has been 4o years since this album was recorded and released. The album was originally produced by Ed Stasium (Ramones, Talking Heads, Motörhead, the Smithereens and Living Color) and recorded at the legendary Mushroom Studios in Vancouver B.C. Canada.
We thought a remastered version was in order. This is mostly because Ed never had a chance to see and hear the band live so we wanted to add a bit more punch to an already great sounding EP, to capture some of that “live” energy.
The album also includes 11 “demo” tracks of various songs that the band was working on and playing at the time. We did our best to make them sound as good as possible, given they were 40 plus years old and not taken from the master tapes, as we have no idea where those are. But we do hope they give you a bit of insight into where the band was at in the early 80’s.
